Jun 2022 Parkland Received STEMI Referring Center Silver Plus Award By: Ashley 787 0 Parkland's STEMI (ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction) program received the American Heart Association’s Mission: Lifeline® STEMI Referring Center Silver Plus Award for applying the most up-to-date evidence-based treatment guidelines to improve patient care and outcomes. Since 2010, the Mission: Lifeline® program has recognized hospitals for their outstanding performance in high quality systems care performance by meeting or exceeding guideline therapy recommendations in treating patients presenting with STEMI heart attack. This important recognition highlights Parkland's ongoing focus on improving cardiac care in our community.
