Parkland Health Center is pleased to welcome Reshma Eugene, MD, to the primary care team at Medical Arts Clinic on the campus of Parkland Health Center - Farmington. Dr. Eugene received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 2015. She then completed her family medicine residency and internship at Aultman Hospital in Ohio in 2018 and is a board-certified family medicine physician.
“I chose the family medicine specialty because I enjoy developing relationships with my patients over time,” Dr. Eugene says. “Not only do family physicians provide holistic care, but they have a broad scope of practice from infants to the elderly.”
As a primary care physician, Dr. Eugene provides services including, but not limited to, comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, women's health counseling and contraception including IUD and Nexplanon insertion, minor skin procedures and biopsies, as well as care for depression, anxiety and fibromyalgia.
“I believe that my practice is unique because I treat the whole patient and I am able to care for their medical as well as mental health problems,” she says.
Dr. Eugene grew up in Ontario, Canada, and spent most of her life there before beginning her medical training. She and her fiancé enjoy hiking, which was a large factor in choosing to live and practice in Farmington.
