Michael Hall, RN, has been honored with The DAISY Award for Q4 2022. The award is part of the DAISY Foundation’s program to recognize the impact our nursing staff makes on the patients in our community.
Michael is a nurse in our medical-surgical unit and was recognized for the personalized and compassionate care he provides.
Michael's nomination reads:
"When they first brought me to my hospital room I was not in a good mood and I didn't want to be here. Michael made me feel at home. He had the kindest eyes and the most calming energy. Michael has the most genuine smile and personality. His bedside manner is great, and he is such a skilled nurse. He was my nurse the first night and I was so disappointed when he was off the rest of the week. When he came in Friday and got to be my nurse, it was like seeing family. I feel comfortable asking him any question, and I know if I make a request he will do everything possible to make it happen. He is a hard worker and a great person. Parkland is lucky to have him. People like Michael are rare these days...just a good soul who is great at what he does."
Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition, Michael!
