As part of their commitment to delivering high-quality health care to the Farmington community, Parkland Health Center has officially opened their new medical office building, Parkland Health Center Medical Clinic.

On September 30, Parkland Health Center celebrated the facility with a grand opening event that included tours of the new building, a ribbon cutting in partnership with the local chambers of commerce, and special appearances by the Farmington High School marching band, color guard, and ROTC, as well as Mineral Area College’s mascot, Kirby the Cardinal. It was also announced that the campus entrance off of Liberty Street has been named Oliver Drive in honor of founding physician and celebrated community member, Dr. George Oliver.

Conveniently located on the northeast corner of the hospital campus at 1106 Hazel Lane, the Parkland Health Center Medical Clinic will house more than 20 doctor’s offices, offer imaging and radiology as well as lab services. Primary care providers transitioned to the new office building on Monday, October 7.

By providing these services in one location, Parkland Health Center offers patients a comprehensive and streamlined health care experience, allowing for fast and convenient access to a range of medical services in one place and reducing the need for multiple appointments in different facilities.

In addition, the new building will feature a Family Care Pharmacy with a drive-through window, which will offer quick and easy pickup of medications for those with mobility issues, parents of young children or patients who simply aren’t feeling well.

The Parkland Health Medical Clinic will be open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. The Family Care Pharmacy will be open 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
